Sign-Up for Voluntary Student Surveillance Testing

Testing Registration Form

(Complete One Form per child)

Santa Fe Public Schools will be conducting voluntary randomized COVID-19 surveillance testing of students.

Surveillance testing is important because it can identify COVID-19 cases involving students that might otherwise go undetected and spread.

For those students currently attending school in person and/or participating in athletic or activity programs, a random sample of students will be selected each week.

  • Student testing is completely VOLUNTARY
  • NO cost to those who participate
  • If your child is selected for testing, the school nursing staff will contact you with more details during that testing window
  • There are a variety of test collection methods available (cheek swabs, nasal swab (not the more invasive deep nasal swab), saliva collection
  • You may remove your child's name from the participation list at any time

Welcome to Gonzales Community School!

PLEASE SEE OUR DISTANCE LEARNING PAGE FOR LEARNING LINKS

Gonzales Community K-8 School is located in the Casa Solana neighborhood of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Our students have the opportunity to compliment their academics with the arts and the use of technology. Clubs and athletic programs provide students with a well-rounded educational experience. Additionally, we are a K-5 Plus school with a 21st Century After School Enrichment
Program. Our parents and teachers work together with our community partners to build bridges with families and school in our culturally rich community.  We have an active PTA supporting our programming and providing family friendly events throughout the school year. Our curriculum is aligned to New Mexico Common Core State Standards and is enhanced through creative teaching methods which ensure student engagement and high academic achievement.
Our dedicated and caring staff works as a team to promote the health and well-being of every student.
