Dear Families,
We’re excited to share that Il Vicino Santa Fe is teaming up with Gonzales Community School for a special fundraiser: Pizza with a Purpose!
📅 Date: Wednesday, September 3rd
🕒 Time: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
📍 Location: Il Vicino, 321 West San Francisco, Santa Fe
Here’s how it works:
When you order at Il Vicino (dine-in or to-go) and mention “Gonzales”, 20% of your purchase will go directly to support our school’s PTA. These funds will help provide much-needed resources for our students, teachers, and classrooms.
It’s a simple way to enjoy a delicious meal with family or friends while also giving back to our school community. Every bite makes a difference!
Thank you for your continued support – we can’t wait to see you there!

Dear Families,
We are so excited to invite you to join us for our Lobo Fun Run! This will be a morning full of fun, movement, and school spirit—all while supporting our students.
✨ Why we’re running:
All proceeds will go to the GCS PTA to help promote classroom wellness and enrichment for our children.
👟 A bonus way to help:
We’re also teaming up with GotSneakers! By donating your gently used athletic shoes, you’ll not only help raise money for our school but also support global recycling efforts. (Athletic shoes only, please.)

Use our school identifier: 689b8b0aa60f1
Customize your child’s fundraising page and sign up to volunteer if you’d like!
There’s still time to register—let’s make this event a special one for our students and our school community!

We are excited to continue offering the 21st Century Lobo Academy Aftercare Program for our families. Due to recent budget changes, we are only able to accept 30 students this year. We know this may come as a surprise, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our best to serve our students with the resources available.
To keep a spot in the program, students will need to remain for the full two hours each day. This helps us ensure that every student receives the full benefit of the program and that all families have a fair opportunity.
It is very important to take a few moments to read the information in the attached link, as it provides all of the details about the program and what families can expect.
Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to working together to make this a positive and enriching experience for our students!

Dear Parents and Guardians, We hope this message finds you well! 💙
We want to take a moment to kindly remind everyone of the importance of students staying for the entire school day whenever possible. We absolutely understand that emergencies and special circumstances come up, we're here to support you through those times. However, frequent early pick-ups can be very disruptive not only to your child’s learning but also to the flow of our school day.
Additionally, when multiple families come to the office at the same time for early dismissal, it can become quite busy and chaotic, especially while we’re also assisting other families and school needs. This can cause delays and confusion, and we want to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Please help us by planning for students to remain in school for the full day unless there's a genuine need. Every minute in class matters, for their academic growth, social development, and daily routine. ⏰📚
We truly appreciate your partnership and understanding. As always, thank you for working with us to make our school a safe, smooth, and positive place for every student. Warm regards,
GCS Office Team

¡Recordatorio!
